HOW TO MAKE THEM ALWAYS "GLAD TO SEE YOU"
GLADIOLUS CARE GUIDE
Known for their long lasting shelf-life and beauty, Gladiolus are the perfect companion for your home, business, or venue. Nonetheless, these beautiful flowers will need your help in order to keep their great look.

Important Care Tips
-
Using a sharp knife, scissor, or garden tool, make a fresh cut off the end of each stem at a 45° angle. This will help the flower better hydrate.
-
Make sure you replace the water in your vase or container every 2 to 3 days to keep it fresh.
-
As the days go by, remove any lower flowers that have began to fade to help encourage the upper flowers to open.
-
Keep your glads away from warm drafts and heating vents to avoid hurting them. They like to keep their cool, we might say.

Keep Your Blooms
For the best results, re-cut the stems on the diagonal every other day or so.
Additionally, make sure to put the flowers back in a clean container with around 5 inches of new fresh water as well. Less water equals fewer bacteria and fewer bacteria = beautiful blooms.

*Tipping*
Some people like to cut or rip the tips off the Glads in order to highlight their blooms even more. Tipping also helps prevent some natural curving at the top of the gladiolus!
